Traffic Sign Assistant: reads, remembers and displays speed limits. Following Distance Indicator: helps you keep a safe distance from the car in front by displaying the distance to the car in front. Forward Collision Alert: automatically triggers visual and audible warnings when slower-moving vehicles are approached too fast. It includes emergency braking that automatically applies the brakes – and makes them more responsive in case you have to brake hard yourself. Active Lane Assist: warns and provides gentle steering-wheel pushback if the driver unintentionally drifts out of lane.

Automatic Cruise Control keeps your car at a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.¹

Automatic Cruise Control (ACC) makes driving in heavy traffic easier and safer. Once activated – by setting a maximum speed (between 30km/h to 180km/h) and distance – the system automatically maintains a safe distance to the vehicle in front. It uses a radar sensor to constantly monitor the distance, automatically adjusting the Astra’s speed to match. When specified with automatic transmission Automatic Cruise Control can even bring the vehicle to a complete standstill.

Enhance your well-being with the ergonomic AGR driver's seat¹ or the Wellness AGR driver's seat¹ with massage and ventilation.

The driver's ergonomic AGR seat¹ is certified by the German AGR (Campaign for Healthier Backs), a centre of excellence for ergonomics. The AGR driver's seat features a wide range of adjustments, including lumbar support and seat cushion extension, all letting you fine-tune your favourite seating position. Alternatively there's the Wellness driver's seat² featuring in-seat massage and ventilation together with a memory function for your personal settings.

Opel’s innovative AirWellness feature refreshes the interior with a choice of two subtle scents – Energising Dark Wood or Balancing Green Tea.
