AFL+
ADAPTIVE FORWARD LIGHTING PLUS.
AFL+ adjusts the Bi-Xenon headlights for different weather and driving conditions – ensuring excellent vision wherever you drive.
AFL+ constantly adjusts the premium Bi-Xenon headlights to provide optimum lighting. A perfect example is when cornering – the headlights match steering inputs, swivelling by up to 15 degrees, so they can iluminate further into the bend.
By monitoring other parameters such as speed, light levels and whether the wipers are being used – the AFL+ system adapts lighting patterns to suit driving and weather conditions.
The forward camera system can also recognising other vehicles allowing AFL+ to automatically switch between high and dipped beam so as not to dazzle other road users. -
PARK ASSIST
EASY PARKING.
Ultrasonic parking sensors detect obstacles to both the front and rear. Astra's Park Assist indicates distances via an audible warning.
