The new Zafira’s patented Flex7® seating system offers you extra-ordinarily comfort. Thanks to the flexible 2-3-2 formation you can quickly and easily turn the 7-seater into a 5-seater or a van with generous amounts of load space, without having to remove the seats. That’s why the new Zafira is perfect for a family outing or for transporting bulky cargo. The large-scale panorama roof offers you great views and unique driving pleasure. Is the new Opel Zafira a convertible? Practically brilliant: In the middle of the panorama roof there is a roof console with five storage spaces for sunglasses, CDs, books or maps.
INSPIRING INNOVATIONS.
The cutting edge in technology is defined by the Interactive Driving System (IDS®Plus). All active and passive vehicle safety systems such as ABS, ESP®Plus and electronic Continuous Damping Control (CDC) are interconnected and adjusted in fractions of a second by the control software. The result: maximum steering precision, stable cornering and fantastic handling.
MORE DYNAMICS AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON.
You can use the SportSwitch to select the driving characteristics of the new Zafira. In the Sport mode the accelerator pedal and steering response is more direct, the suspension and damping are firmer. In combination with automatic transmission and Easytronic®, the Sport mode also adjusts the shift points.
EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL.
The new Zafira is equipped with the latest generation of Electronic Stability Program (ESP®Plus). Unlike ordinary systems, ESP®Plus applies the bakes on up to three wheels at a time. This allows corrections during braking and swerving to be applied with more precision.
MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY.
Nine different engines provide a range of choice that goes from the especially environmentally compatible natural gas-driven ecoFLEX CNG to the 240 turbo hp of the Zafira OPC.
