The Opel safety system begins with a 5-star rated rigid passenger protection structure. This has been computer designed and physically tested to ensure the least possible deformation and largest possible protection space in the event of serious impact from front, rear or sides. To this are added the active safety elements which include Brake Assist, IDS, ABS with Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Pedal Release System (PRS), front and side airbags for driver and front passenger, automatic hazard brake flashers, etc.
