Increased torque at lower revs with reduced fuel consumption and emissions. Sounds impossible? The Opel Movano delivers this with three engine variants (1). Pick the one that’s exactly right for your needs and combine it with the body variant of your choice.
All Opel Movano engines are 2.3 litre units, featuring the latest common rail technology for excellent efficiency and performance. You can choose between three power variants with 100, 125 and 146 hp. All engines are chain, rather than belt driven to reduce long-term maintenance and replacement costs. In addition all have dual mass flywheels for easier shifting and smoother operation.
All engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. Compared to a 5-speed transmission it offers reduced fuel consumption and improved driving performance due to a finer gear ratio. The gearshift and sophisticated synchronisation guarantee excellent shift quality.
A noteworthy new feature is that all models have a shift indicator light. This is located in the instrument cluster and indicates the optimum time to shift gear for maximum fuel economy.
An auxiliary drive from the engine is available on all Opel Movano models. For heavier duty applications a gearbox-driven power take-off is available on all RWD models.
