Since September 1st 2017, certain new cars have had their fuel emissions tested using the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) - a new, more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. On September 1st 2018, the WLTP fully replaced the previous testing procedure, the New European Drive Cycle (NEDC), for all new passenger cars.

Our diesel engines employ BlueInjection in their SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. AdBlue^®1 is automatically injected into the exhaust pipe to convert harmful nitrogen oxide emissions into nitrogen and water vapour, both of which are harmless to the environment.
