Herron Auto Donegal Opel Proudly Supports Donegal Town RFC
Herron Auto Donegal Town, Main Opel Dealer, recently collaborated with Donegal Town’s RFC, donating a generous supply of rugby training balls to the club, courtesy of Opel Ireland. Opel, a proud sponsor of Irish Rugby and official car partner to the IRFU, is proud to support local clubs in Ireland with the provision of essential equipment that will make an immediate and meaningful impact on the vibrant rugby scene across Ireland.
Players of the visited club have express gratitude for Opel Ireland’s generous gesture. Kez McKeown, player on Donegal Town’s Men’s Team says “On behalf of Donegal Town RFC, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Opel for their generous donation of rugby balls. This support is invaluable to our team, and it reinforces the strong bond between the local community and businesses like Opel. These new rugby balls will undoubtedly enhance our training sessions.

Opel is delighted to strengthen its mission to donate Gilbert rugby balls to rugby clubs nationwide. Supporting Donegal Town RFC. and having successfully visited several prominent clubs around Ireland already, Opel is now gearing up to extend its reach to even more clubs in the months ahead. Opel's goal is clear: to strengthen the bond with Irish rugby and actively empower the future stars of Irish rugby by supporting local rugby clubs.
Opel is inviting clubs from around the country to express their interest in receiving rugby balls by simply emailing marketing@opel.ie. Opel aims to furnish a further 10 clubs with training balls before Christmas.
