TOM DOYLE MOTORS SUPPORTS MONIVEA RFC U17s WITH NEW GILBERT RUGBY BALLS
Tom Doyle Motors, Main Opel Dealer and supporter of Irish rugby, recently teamed up with Monivea RFC to donate a set of Gilbert rugby balls to the U17 team, courtesy of Opel Ireland’s Drive the Passion programme. As a proud sponsor of Irish Rugby and the official car partner of the IRFU, Opel is dedicated to supporting local clubs by providing essential equipment that can positively impact the rugby community. Having already collaborated with dozens of clubs across Ireland, Opel plans to reach even more teams in the coming weeks, supplying size 4 balls for youth and size 5 balls for adult teams.

During the event, Paul Brennan expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’re very thankful to Michael and Tom Doyle Motors for their generous contribution. These new rugby balls will be a huge asset to the team. Our players have worked hard in training, and having the right equipment will help us improve our skills as we prepare for upcoming matches.”

Michael Gannon also shared his thoughts on the handover: “It’s great to support Monivea RFC and their U17 squad. We’re passionate about helping local teams, having previously provided rugby balls to clubs like Creggs RFC. We’re excited to see these young players continue to grow and succeed. We wish them the best of luck for the season ahead, and I look forward to seeing how they progress throughout the year.”
