The prizes consists of the following:

 

1st Prize: Family tickets (2 adults + 2 children) to Ireland vs Japan at Virgin Media Stadium, Cork on Saturday 3rd October 2026. PLUS a family overnight stay at Fota Island Resort on Saturday 3rd October 2026 (2 adults + 2 children) & A family pass to Fota Wildlife Park.

2nd Prize: An official Irish rugby jersey signed by members of the Women’s Irish Rugby team.

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to Opel Ireland’s Women's Rugby competition. In the event of any conflict, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

 

1. The competition opens on Tuesday 15th September 2026 and closes on Friday 25th September 2026.

2. The overnight stay comprises of one family room for 2 adults + 2 children in ... on the night of Saturday 3rd October 2026. Children must be between the ages of 3-12. Breakfast is included. 

3. The competition is open to residents of  the Republic of Ireland aged 18 and over.

4. To be entered into the competition, participants must complete the entry form with their details during the competition period.

5. Winners will be selected within one week of the competition closing date and will be contacted directly using the details provided.

6. The signed jersey and ball must be collected at your Local Opel dealer 

7. No cash alternative is available. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

8. Opel Ireland reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the competition, either generally or in respect of any particular participant, at any time and for any valid commercial, technical, or operational reason.

9. By entering the competition, participants agree that Opel Ireland may use their personal data solely for the purposes of administering and managing the competition, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

Fota Island Resort Terms and Conditions

March into Spring Terms and Conditions:

 

  • The March into Spring package is not applicable for reservations made via a third party website.
  • Complimentary upgrade – only if available.
  • Guest will receive one category room upgrade. At the sole discretion of Fota Island Resort, we may provide room upgrades greater than one category. No compensation shall be provided where the room upgrade is beyond the defined category upgrade.
  • All upgrades shall be confirmed at the time of arrival at Fota Island Resort and are based on the room type selected at the time of booking.
  • The room upgrade benefit only applies to the room the guest occupies, regardless of whether the guest booked additional rooms in advance or upon check-in.
  • The Spa credit has no cash redemption value, and the unused portion of such a credit cannot be exchanged for cash and is forfeited.
  • 20 Spa credit each valid on treatments over €100 or more and excluding packages.
