The power for new Zafira-e Life’s full-electric, zero-emission powertrain comes from powerful lithium-ion batteries with 50kWh for a range of up to 230km1 or with 75kWh for a range of up to 330km1. High energy-density cells, advanced heat management and balanced chassis integration mean not only a long operational life and dependable range, but also a low center of gravity for a stable, even driving character.

The range and electric consumption figures mentioned are preliminary and comply with the WLTP test procedure, on the basis of which new vehicles are type approved from 1 September 2018. While driving, as soon as you lift your foot off the accelerator pedal, the Regenerative Braking system recaptures kinetic energy whilst braking and converts that power into even more range. In its highest setting (B-Mode), most short journeys can be driven without use of traditional brakes, reducing wear and associated maintenance costs.

Its high-energy density 75kWh battery needs just 30 minutes to charge 80% of optimum range using any 100kW public charger. Onboard and home-base charging conveniently provides maximum range overnight or between jobs, making new Zafira-e Life the ideal clean, easy and cost-effective upscale shuttle.
