Stellantis extends policy for Opel consumers in Ireland concerning the camshaft chain on previous generations of 1.5 BlueHDI Diesel Engines

 

The safety and satisfaction of Opel customers in Ireland remain Stellantis’s key priorities.

Stellantis has introduced a special coverage for previous generations of the 1.5 Blue HDi diesel engines.

This programme covers 100% of the costs for up to 10 years or 240,000 kilometres for both parts and labour, for camshaft chain issues, provided certain eligibility criteria are met.​

 

If you have already incurred repair expenses due to a breakage of the camshaft chain with this engine

between January 1, 2023, and May 1, 2025, you may be entitled to claim reimbursement under this special coverage.​

 

Stellantis's online platform is available, where you can submit your application and upload the required documents. for the assessment.

This allows your application to be processed quickly and conveniently.​
