There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission, but there are appropriate safeguards in place, which are in this case respective EU Standard Contractual Clauses (EU SCC’s). I agree that Opel Automobile Ireland Limited and Opel Automobile GmbH will use my above-mentioned data to enable accurate identification to offer me the best services and experience and to avoid possible inconsistencies with regard to the named purposes. These parties use business rules in matching and merging processes to detect potential matches between two or more records, coming from different sources and systems (e.g. via online requests raised to Opel, participation in Opel marketing events, usage of myOpel) to achieve creating a unique customer master record.

My personal data will be stored for the above mentioned purposes for further three years after the last contact with Opel.

The data processing is based on my consent that I provide herewith (Art. 6 (1) (a) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). In addition, I agree that with respect to the data transfer to a country outside the EEA, the derogation according to Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR applies.
